For testing ethylene glycol antifreeze solutions containing glycerine, which have been mandatory in Volkswagen passenger car models since 2011. In these solutions, 20% of the ethylene glycol has been replaced by glycerine. To determine the antifreeze concentration, this requires the use of the new ‘gefo glycomat’ antifreeze tester.
The device features automatic temperature compensation. The cap with a rotary valve allows for operation without dripping or drawing in air.
